The Scouting Report
With summer in full swing, the Mets host opponents from across the MLB throughout June and July games at Citi Field. The team faces a number of division-leading foes, including the NL Central’s Milwaukee Brewers and the AL West’s Oakland A’s. Other notable games include a contest against the division-rival Marlins, who will swim all the way to Citi Field from Miami on July 12. Throughout the summertime showdowns, fans can capitalize on numerous promotional giveaways. All fans in attendance on June 13 receive t-shirts, and the first 15,000 fans in attendance on July 6 get Mets cereal bowls. The team will ring in July 4 with a post-game fireworks show, and on July 12, Huey Lewis & The News take the field for a post-game performance.
