Great stay in Alaska Hotel is really good. Room was spacious, clean, with 2 comfortable beds and big screen tv. Breakfast area is big enough. We enjoyed hot breakfast and tasty coffee with muffins. Trying to stay here every time I visit Anchorage. I would recommend to stay in that hotel!!!

a most pleasant stay at a very good hotel room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities i needed. staff was very friendly and helpful. special kudos to the shuttle service staff. they were on time and helpful getting me to and from both the train station and the airport. on one specific day, one driver even offered to take me to the downtown anchorage even though it wasnt on the schedule. He saved me a long snowy walk. breakfast was tasty and plentiful. will be using them again when in anchorage.

Terrible Not much good to say about our stay. Rooms were not clean carpets smelled and very stained. Free breakfast was hardly anything at all out of most items. Bags of trash in lobby of hotel. Terrible experience. It is close to the train station _ which was the only good thing. They kept the rooms terribly hot we had to figure out how to get the heat off and air on it was crazy calling front desk where it took forever for someone to answer.

Nice Hotel in Anchorage Everything was fine. The hotel is not the newest, it could be renovated. But for 1 or 2 nights is fine. Breakfast was nice. What was not so fine - I wrote an e-mail to the hotel, the first e-mail adress from the booking page was wrong. The other one way from the page of the whole company, but I did not get any response _

Thumbs Up! My husband and I vacationed in Alaska with an Alaska Railroad tour. It was fantastic and so was our stay at Wingate on W Ship creek Avenue. We liked being just a hop, skip and jump away from the downtown area, certainly within walking distance from the restaurants and gift shops. We also enjoyed walking the lovely path along Ship Creek right outside our motel room. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Wingate will be our choice if we ever get back to Anchorage!
