Dated but fine I admit I was worried after all the scary reviews, but this hotel was perfectly adequate. The only problem is that the rooms are definitely dated. But at the end of the day I slept well and had hot coffee in the room, and ultimately that’s all I cared about. I used points and can’t imagine paying $200+ to stay here, but ultimately you’re paying for location. Only complaint is that Wyndham Diamonds get literally nothing here… no late check-out even.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE The lady that initially booked my room did not give me the correct information. I was told I could pay for the room over the phone or when I checked in. However, when I tried to call yesterday to make the payment I was told that I could not do that, that I had to make the payment when I checked in. She also initially told me that the $20 parking fee was included with my total amount but I was informed when I checked in that it was not and I would still have to pay an additional 20 dollars. Then when I checked in, after a 7 hour long drive,  the room is disgusting, there is a hole in the wall, the toilet literally loudly runs every 7 seconds, I have video of it, the beds are uncomfortable and the room stinks.  This room is worth 25 dollars if that. Let's not forget to mention the manager, Rachael was rude and got loud with me when I called and asked for a refund. There should be a manager on duty to handle situations like this.  I didn't drive here for 7 long hours with my children to be stuck having to deal with this. We had plans for the night that we have now missed.  This is the worst hotel experience I've ever encountered.  We checked out 30 minutes after checking in WITHOUT my refund. I had to spend an additional 128 a different hotel, The Comfort Suites, which was so worth it. It cost me 164 for the disgusting room at Days Inn but only 128 to Comfort Suites and they actually provides free hot breakfast and did not charge a 20 dollar parking fee. Not only that, but the staff was so polite and friendly, the air was clean, the hotel was spectacular! We couldn't believe the difference all together when we arrived the Comfort!. AGAIN don't waste your time and money on The Days Inn

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! If you're looking for a room within walking distance to Historical district and other attractions this hotel works IF you don't care about the room. Damp, musty smell when walking in. Bathroom door would not close, mold spots on the shower ceiling. Carpet was dirty feeling so barefoot was cringe worthy. Found a blood spot on blanket that was there before we went to bed. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. $20 to park your car (not mentioned when you make reservations) but you can leave your car there until 3pm. What didn't we ask for other room you may wonder? Didn't want to go thru the hassle of changing rooms when exhausted from heat and sightseeing. It should have been right the first time!

ROACHES ROACHES - Enough Said but also there isn't any housekeeping service. You have to go the desk to get a towel, etc. The Good: Staff was friendly and it is located right across from the Charleston Market so it is a good location but I would not stay there again.

Good location Hotel location was very convenient, just a block from the city market. Although amenities were limited, this was the cheapest hotel in the historic district and a good value. A lot of restaurants were close by.
