It could have been better for the price . Could have been better. We stayed in a few different rooms & 3 out of 4 rooms smelled like animals urine. The carpet flooring in the rooms needs to be pulled up & something else besides carpet put down. One room stunk,another room had roaches & the last room we stayed in ,I got bit by a spider . (Yes ,heard that from a Dr.)

Dirty, Damaged, Scary. We have stayed at this hotel previously while passing through. We chose it again because it was okay the first time and it has the ability to cook in the room, which is a great way to save money while traveling. At check in, we walked in to a wall of cigarette and pot smoke. It was too late for me to cancel so I checked in, thinking it would get better… it didn’t. There were other guests loitering at the desk and in the dark hallways and a large dog barking and growling. Every wall in the halls, the elevator and the room were damaged and covered in spackle. When we entered the room, there was so much evidence of a previous guests. There was a dirt ring on the toilet bowl The floor was covered in food crumbs and debris. There was an earwig crawling on the counter. The walls were covered in mystery stains and dirt. There were only two pillows on the beds and the comforters were stained., not sure the sheets were clean because they looked previously slept in. And the worst was that there was no way to lock the door as the slap lock was missing. I tried to call the desk but there was no answer. We left the room, and found the front desk associate outside smoking with another guest. So we left. Found a holiday express to stay at down the road that was clean and where I’m writing this from. I worked for a Choice Ascend Collection resort for many years as a guest services manager, I would be absolutely mortified if I checked a guest into this room, let alone let these safety issues go unaddressed. So disappointed. I’m hoping to get a refund of my money paid as I literally walked in and walked out with my husband and our 3 young children.

Housekeeping is not done properly! Hair in showers and filthy bedding! I work in house keeping for another Choice hotel. So I know the first thing to check is the bedding. When I tell you to go elsewhere, I mean it. The mattress cover and sheets were DISGUSTING! They also tried to cancel our 2 queen bed reservation just hours before we arrived because they no longer had any available. The reservation was made 2 weeks in advance! So we had to split up adults and kids into 2 single rooms. The other room was just as filthy!

Definitely will not stay again. Check-in was ok. From there it went down hill. The carpets in the hallways are disgusting. The room was damp and stuffy. The beds were uncomfortable, bathroom and walls were dirty. The kitchen area was ok, the refrigerator was not cleaned from the person before. There were lots of construction workers staying there and they were loud. We will not stay here again.

Avoid Unless You Have No Other Option We had never stayed in one of these types of facility before so maybe that was the problem -- we didn't know what to expect. First the positives -- it was surface clean and it was quiet. That's all I can say positive. The room needed a deep cleaning -- the smell was horrible. We assumed they had smokers in there previously for a long time. The smell even got in our clothes! One of the ceiling lights was out. The side security door was propped open with a rock everytime we returned. The second day there was a policeman in the lobby talking to a resident -- about some problem. Why did we stay the 3 days -- there was a major event and places were booked.
