Holiday Inn Express Crestwood by IHG

Very relaxing with near by restaurants. This hotel is very well kept. The room was very clean and the ac worked great. And the breakfast was amazing with vegetarian omelette options. I really enjoyed the chocolate milk option.checkout was a breeze. Just know there is an incidental charge of 100 that is paid back within a week.

Room Cancelled Due to Overbooking and No Alternatives Offered Well, my review unfortunately will be short but hopefully serves as a stern warning to all others considering this hotel to avoid if possible. They are unable to honor confirmed room reservations. Last evening, I had a confirmed reservation for the Holiday Inn Express in Crestwood, for a flight the next morning out of Midway, which was booked directly through the hotel. Upon time of arrival that evening (~9:00 PM), no one was at the front desk and it took approximately ~10 minutes for a receptionist to show up for check in. At that time, I was informed that they would need to "check if a room was available" despite the aforementioned reservation. After waiting in the lobby for approximately 30 minutes, I was informed that my confirmed room was actually no longer available, and that my reservation would be cancelled. There was no offer to arrange alternative stays at a sister property, no offer to put me up in another hotel in the area, was literally told "really sorry for the inconvenience" and "good luck". I was subject to walk out , call an Uber, and try to find an alternative arrangement late at night which may have availability. However, the hotel was so kind enough to leave two follow up voicemails that night from the hotel, at 11:30 and 11:40 that evening, re-informing me that my room was indeed cancelled due to an overbooking, another "sorry for the inconvenience" and nothing else. No explanation was provided, or has been provided since this experience last evening. I cannot recommend stronger to avoid this hotel at all costs.

The best costumer service The person on the reception she is amazing person, she is angel she help me alot when I do my reservation whit expedia ,they chance my date and they want a charge more money and she talk whit the company to respet my date appointment honestly she is the best person, please come she is very nice this job is perfect for her,the only think I have to say my family and me thank so much LATRINA P. Pleasant Stay at Solid HIE I spent one Thursday night here in transit to a family event the next day. The staff were welcoming and efficient at check-in, getting me on the way to my room in a matter of minutes. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was pretty much exactly what you would expect from the HIE brand. The breakfast are was clean and well-stocked with standard HIE breakfast fare. There are renovations underway but they really had zero impact on my stay. I would stay again when passing through the southwest Chicago suburbs.

Not What I Expected I stay at a lot of Holiday Inn Express locations with my daughter for softball. You know what you are getting at each one as they are basically the same. The front desk employees at check in and check out were friendly and efficient. The second floor hall and our room smelled like must, pot, and something else not great. Everything except the actual bed felt dirty. Needs serious deep cleaning, carpet replacement, and updating. I’m not talking about worn carpet either as that happens over time. The party next door woke me up around midnight. You can hear everything through the walls. I am guessing that some ‘locals’ stay here and I will leave it at that. Slept (when the noise allowed) with a softball bat next to the bed. I can guarantee I would not stay here again.
