Not a bad stay with some hiccups Pretty average stay. First the good: great/safe area, easy parking, A/C worked great, mini fridge worked very well, pretty decently renovated, was able to get an amazon package delivered to the front desk with 0 issues and overall pretty good staff. The not so great: WIFI was absolutely terrible and my room was in a central part of the building, this is unacceptable for 2024 and I had to use my cellular data to actually get work done. Also, at check-out, for some reason they could not print out a hard copy of my receipt for whatever reason and I never received one in my email, they were also unable to change my payment method because "the night audit had already run it". Issues I've never had to deal with at other hotels during check out which made me wonder if she was actually trying....

Won’t Return Front desk was nice very nice and helpful hoped to have a nice stay while working at the Base however each morning breakfast attendant with blue hair was an absolute demon. Pancake machine was broken each day not a big deal but attendant was enough to never return. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Overheard her talking to maintenance worker about how much she hated other coworkers. Won’t return.

To sleep, perhaps to clean? The sheets were dirty, so I slept it the second bed in the room, as it had two. This is the second time in a week that I found unclean sheets leading me to believe that this is a policy of the hotel chain, to not wash the sheets after each guest to cut cost.

Good choice Would have been a 5 but breakfast on Sunday was almost completely gone by 9:20 (breakfast goes until 10:00). Otherwise no complaints. Room was nice and clean. The hotel was quiet. Easy access from the highway. There are lots of restaurants nearby.

Barbara is extremely unprofessional with concerning behavior. Her conduct included yelling and screaming... My recent encounter with Barbara Presley at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dayton South - I-675 was profoundly disappointing and disheartening. Not only did Barbara exhibit extremely unprofessional behavior during our interaction, but she also subjected me and my 6-year-old daughter to a distressing and unsettling experience. Barbara's conduct included yelling and screaming, which is entirely inappropriate and unwarranted in a customer service role. She also provided misleading information, falsely claiming that my reservation had been canceled by a third party when this was not the case. Moreover, she intentionally canceled my reservation, causing significant inconvenience and distress to my daughter and me. To make matters even worse, Barbara's actions led to an unnecessary involvement of the police. When officers arrived at the hotel, she provided them with false information, leading to other guests speaking up on my behalf, further complicating an already unfortunate situation. The most heart-wrenching part of this ordeal was seeing my 6-year-old daughter witness such distressing behavior. She was left in tears because she couldn't enjoy a simple pleasure like going swimming. It is imperative that the management of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dayton South - I-675 address these grave concerns urgently. This kind of unprofessional conduct and disregard for guests' well-being is entirely unacceptable and falls far short of the standards expected in the hospitality industry. Every guest, especially children, deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and honesty. My experience with Barbara was a painful departure from those principles.
