Staff should be replaced. Absolutely horrific experience. DO NOT STAY HERE. There is one hotel in Derby, Kansas and I will still choose to drive out of my way to avoid this disaster. The manager, George, as well as the front desk staff lied to my family, mocked us when their ineptness forced us to delay my grandfather's funeral, and treated us with incredible disrespect. The morning of my grandfather's funeral there was no running water. When mentioned to the staff, they lied, made excuses, and only added to our stress and grief. I am not one to complain, but their behavior was beyond unacceptable. If Hilton cared about their brand name at all, they would bring in a new operating company and new staff. I am disgusted by this property. I will never stay there again. It is shocking to me that these people chose a career in hospitality because it could not be more clear that they do not have one ounce of hospitable ability. I wish I could leave negative stars. Disgusting staff. Disgusting property. On one of the hardest days of my life, this property and their staff somehow made it worse. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.

DO NOT STAY HERE I wish I could give this place zero stars. My family and I recently stayed at this hotel while attending a funeral, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Not only was the service beyond atrocious, but the staff was downright cruel. First, there was no running water for an entire day! We couldn't shower, use the bathroom, or even wash our hands. When we brought this up with the front desk, they acted like it was no big deal and offered no compensation or apology. But the worst part? The staff openly mocked us when they found out we were in town for a funeral. I still can't believe the level of insensitivity and heartlessness we experienced. They made inappropriate jokes about the situation, showing zero respect for what we were going through. My family was devastated, and the hotel staff only added to our grief. This place is a disgrace. If you want basic human decency and working amenities, DO NOT stay here. It's the worst hotel l've ever been to, and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs! George is the worst and should not have a job.I’m

Slept well, serves the purpose. Typical Hampton, comfortable and you know what you're getting. Location was perfect for what I needed. They are renovating right now and it's definitely needed. Little things like shower doors having issues, outlet plates. Overall, it's Hampton quality and consistency. I'm sure they will resolve all the little stuff with this work. I will stay here again.

Road Trip Hotel Stayed at this older Hampton Inn while traveling across the country. Erin at the front desk was very helpful. Our room was very clean, smaller room. Pets are allowed here but they said they put them in odd number rooms so even number rooms haven't had pets. So if that's true, that's helpful if you have allergies.

A Warm, Welcoming Hotel For several months, my mother was in a nursing home close to this hotel, so I ended up staying there several times, usually for several days at a time. Throughout this period of time, George and his staff were beyond friendly, helpful, and considerate to my situation. When she passed away recently, they were all as conciliatory as they could be, doing their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible and to make my feel welcome. I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism of this establishment.
