Average Stay This is a very average hotel property. The price paid was in line with the services provided. The property is right off the interstate and surrounded with many food choices. The room itself was average and probably needs some updating. It did have everything we needed for our short stay. My biggest concern with any stay is that the room is ready when we walk into it. The a/c had not been turned on prior to our arrival, so it was stuffy in the room when we walked in. In addition, there was only one half used roll of toilet paper and the tub faucet was leaking. The bathroom sink was also very slow to drain which meant it was beginning to clog. There were the bare minimal towels and they were pretty thin. This property needs a lot of help with customer service. I went down to the front desk to get another roll of toilet paper and the clerk said he did not have access to supplies. He took a roll from the first floor bathroom and then gave me a pool towel from the pool when I asked about an extra towel for my wife. He gets an A for effort, but how does the night clerk not have access to supplies? When we went to check out in the morning, the clerk did not know how to close out our stay and print me out a receipt. On the upside, the property is convenient to the interstate and has a large parking lot that is well lit. It will do for one night while traveling, but I probably would not stay here for multiple nights.

Not a honest or kind owners Had a reservation with $ price. When I called day of reservation the owner increased $$$ price and wouldn’t honor our first reservation. Owner hung up on me while I was talking to him. He also refused some of my family to stay there with no reason and also increased the price. Do not recommend this hotel !

Nice people but MOUSE POOP in the foldout! Let me start by saying the front desk was extremely nice and helpful, but we ended up leaving this hotel. Everything appeared ok at check-in. First, there was dust and hair in the room corners. Ok, overlooked that. Went to the pool, and my son got out almost immediately because he said there was something gross all over the bottom of the pool. Overlooked that. We returned to the room to set up the pull-out couch bed for my son. I opened it up, and it was full of mouse poop that flew out at me. Mouse poop folded up in the mattress, mouse poop under the mattress. I called the front desk, and someone came up to see and moved us to the room next door. I was extremely uncomfortable and grossed out though, so we checked out and went next door to Clarion. Much better. Again, the staff was very nice and accommodating; I just couldn't stand the thought of mice.

It's simple... NO No. Just don't. What's lacking in this hotel? Absolutely everything. The graffiti on the front desk COVID shields were my first clue. I was brave and stayed the night, but I should have just walked out. Pay more and stay elsewhere. You'll find better next door at the HIE, or many hotels just a few miles south in Evansville.
