Great place to stay! Miss AJ was absolutely hospitable checking in. She was knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed to enhance my stay. Hotel is located in a great spot with plenty of stuff to do in the area. My room was clean and very comfy. They have an indoor heated pool and a complementary breakfast!

Good staff, good location, so-so management. Was in town for an event with my wife. Hotel is on a busy stretch just off the highway, but convenient to get back to if you're at the Coliseum or downtown. Big parking lot, and no problems finding a spot. There were three big events the weekend I was here, so the place was booked solid. This seems to have caused some issues. Lobby was clearly recently refreshed, and the staff was really great and friendly the entire time we were there. We pre-checked in via the honors app and were hoping to just go to our room, but had to go to the front desk so they could check our card. There was only one person working the front desk when we arrived, so there was a backup and wait to get everyone checked in. They were unbelievably friendly, just seemed as if they were understaffed, and mentioned that the computers were being upgraded this weekend. Sign mentioned that a manager was on duty, but never saw them come to help get people sorted. Room was standard, albeit a little small, if I'm being honest. Beds were firm, pillows were definitely not. Bathroom was large and clean, with plenty of towels. Large, relatively new television. Only real complaint is that the toilet seats are super loud when closing, so we could hear every time our neighbors used the restroom. Breakfast was so-so. Standard Hampton waffles on offer, but outside of those, nothing felt particularly great. First day was western-omelettes and canned corned beef hash. The second day, I went down around 8am to find that there was nothing really left other than one bagel, one piece of bread, a sausage patty, and oatmeal left. That was a bummer. This hotel has a decent location, and great staff. It honestly feels like management is cheaping out on some of the things such as breakfast offerings and staffing. I probably wouldn't come back, but it was a serviceable property for what I needed.

Loud HVAC, clean hotel We had a quick 2 night trip to the area for a wedding. I primarily stay at Hilton properties, so chose to cash in some points for this trip. Generally our stay was okay/average for a Hampton. I was recognized as a gold Hilton honors member with water bottles and snack choice, however when asking about upgrades was informed “this property doesn’t do upgrades.” Most employees we encountered were professional, efficient and friendly. The gentleman at the desk 5:30am on Monday 10/30 was especially kind sending us on our way with kind greetings. This hotel served our purposes fine. The recent renovations were more on a soft renovation level, which meant the rooms and public areas all appeared fresh. However, when upon closer look, you could tell that some things didn’t change. The sink faucet, thermostat on the wall, toilet paper holder and towel hook all should have been replaced when they had a recent remodel. They looked old or tarnished. Other than that, the room was clean. There was minimal road noise on the even-numbered side (north) of the building, although a few louder vehicles could be heard on the main road and in the parking lot of nearby restaurants. After 10 or so at night though, didn’t hear much except for the VERY loud AC unit in the room. I honestly don’t know what they could have done other than replace the entire unit to fix that racket and we weren’t interested in moving rooms. So I chose not to report it. However, if they AC units are older, I’d imagine many other rooms’ units make a lot of racket – bring your earplugs just in case. The bed comfort wasn’t great – average for this category of hotel. Could have used USB plugs on both sides of the bed. Breakfast – average for Hampton, but can get you on your way. "Great value" brand yogurt was offered; not sure I’ve seen that before at a Hampton, but at least they had it! Good: Room and all public areas were clean Fairly recent soft renovation looked fresh King room with sofa provided ample space for 2 Black out shade was good, still some slight light at the top section Needs Improvement: Thermostat hard to read due to age, and was also mounted crooked on the wall Very loud HVAC unit when running with AC it had very loud rattle of the fan when condenser was running Sink Faucet is old and had very low water pressure Toilet paper holder is old with corrosion marks and slightly loose on the wall Towel hook completely loose and turns upside down easily – must carefully hang towel or it will turn over and drop towel on the floor All in all, I might look for a newer property or one that had more completely renovated if ever in the area again. But this is a good mid-range hotel if that’s what you are looking for.
