Always ask to see the room before paying! Fix the problem before it becomes one. Business ❘ Solo I arrived a little late, checking in around 11:45 p.m. The night auditor was the best part of my stay; she is a gem and deserves to work at a four-star hotel. Now on to the room: I passed several people smoking outside, which is fine, but it seemed as if there was a drug deal going on in the driveway. When I entered the room, the lights wouldn't work. There was no light bulb in one lamp, and the other lamp was assembled incorrectly, so I had to fix it to get any light. The floor had no carpet and was far from clean, so I kept my socks on. As I started to unpack, I opened the refrigerator to put a drink inside, but it was off, dirty, and hot. The microwave was also dirty. When I went to the bathroom and turned on the light, I grabbed the coffee maker to make a cup of coffee but found it in a condition that could make someone sick, caked with mold and mildew. I decided to strip the bed to check for cleanliness and found a couple of cigarette burn holes. By now, it was nearly 1:00 a.m., so I figured I should take a shower and get to bed. However, there was no hot water for shaving or bathing. Unfortunately, I've noticed that some hotels bought by foreign families tend to have no hot water late at night or early in the morning. While I cannot prove that they turn it off to save money, every hotel I've stayed at under similar circumstances lacked hot water during these hours. Despite my discomfort, I did not ask for a refund. I decided to leave in the morning, feeling that my $107 was wasted. Unless you have a specific reason to stay in Greer, South Carolina, do not choose the Quality Inn on Wade Hampton Boulevard. Again, the lady at the desk was wonderful, and the issues were beyond her control. I attempted to explain the situation to the young man responsible for cleaning the room, but he did not understand English. Conclusion: I am not biased toward any nationality they are all hard-working people, I just want my money's worth when I pay for a clean room to stay in. And I'm tired of reading all these canned apologies from the Owners and Managers, they say the same thing over and over.... just fix the problems!

DON'T GO THERE We got off to a bad start. First, the clerk refused to make a reservation by phone. When we arrived, he quoted a price at $30 above the price on the Choice Hotels website. He claimed that he was giving us an upgrade to a "BIG" room. It was a dinky so-called handicapped accessible room. The bed looked clean but the room and bathroom were dirty and in need of maintenance. We had planned a four night stay but left in the morning. I would not recommend this place to an enemy.

Keep looking elsewhere. Moody smell in room, dust everywhere. Breakfast is very limited. Horrible stay. Staff was accommodating with extra towels. Safety latch on door was broken and replaced when asked. I do not think I have had a worse stay at at quality inn before.

Smelly, moth balls The hotel was basically poor with pool closed, meager breakfast and the room smelled like moth balls. The manager seemed to be stalking me while I packed my car in disabled *had placard and disabled Veteran plate). It appears that he called the sheriff to look; who looked and left. I gave them the requested $25 cash deposit to "keep from putting a hold on your card Sir". THEY KEPT IT!

Jacuzzi Very affordable jacuzzi room. It was a huge room , with a walk in shower as well. I really loved my stay here. Will definitely come back to stay here again. Its only 7 miles from the international airport. Very convenience.
