Going, going…soon to be gone While I was staying at this hotel, I read in the local newspaper that the local government has acquired the property and will convert it into low-income housing. I stayed at the hotel for four nights, which is long enough to see strengths and weaknesses that may not be obvious during a quick one night stay. Here are the strengths: my room was clean and spacious. The hotel is located on busy Route 9, but my room was quiet and I got a good night’s sleep. Here are weaknesses: they’ve stopped cleaning rooms except when new guests check in. It would have been nice to be offered a fresh set of towels after a couple days, or empty the waste baskets during my longer stay. The few employees on premises were friendly, but the hotel is extremely understaffed. I rarely saw another person during my four days. I’m guessing one staff person multitasks for front desk, housekeeping etc. The breakfast bar is pretty worthless, with a few prepackaged muffins and tiny yogurts.

Very affordable with clean rooms Staff was friendly, while making reservations and while staying there. The price can't be beat and the hotel is in a safe area with stores such as Target, Whole Foods. Also, there are many other hotels. The hotel was 15 minutes drive to UMass Amherst, convenient for orientation. Only downside, There were a few signs that such and such "is out of order", Basic amenities, rooms were clean and everything was working in the room. Fine for a 2 night stay.

Decent Place For The Money I just stayed here twice in a week and am overall pleased with this hotel. Bear in mind that this IS a Budget hotel so ones expectations have to be a bit tempered. To only pay 90 dollars (Including Tax) to rest your head on a comfortable bed in a clean room is a good deal. The location is also a plus as you are right next to a variety of shopping and restaurants. The breakfast is extremely limited but you can always treat yourself to the "The Stable" across the street with the money that you save here!

Absolutely terrible service I do not like to leave negative reviews for places but I want to state that this hotel has violated federal law by denying me and my family a room because of my service dog the hotels excuse was that because of covid they changed their policy on not allowing service dogs which is a violation of the American with disability act the hotel didn’t even have the curtesy to call me before my trip to inform me of this they did it after we had been traveling all morning on trains from nyc to Hadley Massachusetts the gentleman behind the front desk did try to make right by sending us to a hotel down the street and I will be writing an whole other review on what transpired there as it was a complete horror I want something to be done as this incident caused my 8 year old son to have a medical episode from the second hotel and an extra 400 dollars that we didn’t have it was completely unacceptable for the hotel to deny a service dog and it almost ruined our entire thanksgiving trip Stay away if you are a disabled person with a service dog they will tell you one thing when you book and. Then deny you when you arrive

I would call them, the Zen Lodge! The staff is friendly and very patient, as I was always in and out. Life has its ebb's and flows and the pool was my favorite place to unwind. Very clean and staff were always busy. A fair amount of brkfst items (not hot) of course due to the pandemic situation. House keeping was wonderful with making sure I had enough towels. After being in many hotels this past year due to displacement this was the BEST! My room was large as well as the bathroom, and had wood floors, which to us is a bonus! The rate we paid was cheaper then the rest of the are, yet had the best accommodations. Thank you for treating us during this trying time with compassion and respect. We will definitely be coming back here.
