Important things need to be addressed This Courtyard is clean and mostly he is very good condition like I expect at a courtyard. Internet speed was very good and shower heads worked great. They use the high-end Speakman brand there are always fantastic. What was not so good: 1 room lighting was terrible. Good thing my wife was not with me for this trip. 2 the bag meals were terrible for breakfast. Cold bagel with no way to heat it up and a nasty tasting breakfast bar are no way to get started. I realize there is a covid issue but they can do a lot better than this. 3. I travel a lot so I get Elite status and this normally means I get a bottle of water or something when I arrive. There was no mention of this at this hotel. I often choose Courtyards because I can expect a minimum level of quality that works well for business travel at a reasonable price. This location did not meet this standard for the reasons mentioned above. I hope Marriott can correct this.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! THE GHETTO OF DOWNTOWN HOTELS! I should've known by the guests standing outside and hanging around the hotel that we were in for a ghetto weekend, thinking that the inside of the hotel would be better, we approach the front desk and the receptionist was flat out RUDE! She would cut you off as you're talking and talk over you. When I asked for an extra blanket at check-in, I didn't get one until the NEXT day. Our room was NOT cleaned our entire stay Friday until Sunday afternoon! When we came back to our room on Saturday it was dirty and the entire hotel smelled like marijuana but we finally received the extra blanket we asked for a day later. At check out another RUDE receptionist, and non one answers the front desk at all. 80 calls and no answer. The noise outside as well as inside the hotel was ridiculous! Our stay in Houston was ruined by this hotel!

Great place to stay! Amazing hotel! Upgraded, super clean and very friendly staff. Front desk accommodated me since I was going to teach my virtual elementary class from the room the next day. I asked for a view since some of my students have never traveled outside of NJ. They were very excited to see a Houston, NJ. Breakfast was bagged to go. Market was pricey and bar was closed due to Covid. No pool. Parking was $38 plus tax for overnight. I’ll def come back!

Good hotel We arrived late and were promptly booked into our rooms. The rooms were really nice with brilliant Showers. The view was of a car park but I just wanted to sleep so that was no problem. Breakfast in the morning was a burrito with a choice of either a hot drink or juice. The burrito was quite a size and definitely hit the spot. When we were picked up by the free bus transfer, the gentleman driving was outstanding and a thoroughly nice bloke.

Good location; old hotel I like Marriott and the Courtyard brand is very good. Service at this location was terrific. Anything I needed, I received quickly. Front desk team was wonderful. Room was clean. I could tell that it was well run...good management...motivated employees. The downsides: Bed was old, lagged in the center; towels were old, even threads were coming off. However, I can handle some of that but not the smell. It’s clear the hotel was covering up something bad. There was a smell in the lobby and my room. The hotel sprays something to try to make it better (smelled like Frabreeze) but in the end, it’s toxic. I could not sleep and woke up with a headache. I feel badly for the employees who must endure this everyday. Not good for their lungs.
