Great service Rooms are clean, good hot breakfast (well stocked)....Front desk person Brittany...is a star. She checked us in quick at around 4pm and she was there again in the morning to check us out at 930 am. The hotel is short staffed but Brittany made life easy for all the guests even when minor issues arose she handled the situation quick and efficiently. Pat on the back to her. Will return, great location...25 miles to Columbus Zoo, stayed here to avoid traffic in Columbus. Plenty of options for dinner around the area.

Hampton inn? We spent the weekend at the Dublin Irish Festival in Dublin, Ohio and stayed at the hampton inn in Marysville. This is not the usual quality and comfort we have come to expect from Hampton Inn. The front desk employees were friendly & courteous. The breakfast was OK. Our room was dated and dark. The shade on the large window was not working so we were unable to get daylight. There were NO TOWEL BARS in the bathroom. A shower curtain was the closet door. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Just OK, Only in a Pinch I stay at a lot of Hamptons, this one is barely OK. The rooms are dated, the bathroom was clean but it is obvious there was some patching. The shower stall looked to be an insert that didn’t drain the water very well, shower head didn’t match the rest of the fixtures, gaps between fixtures and tile, rust showing in gap, etc. Looks like the handyman has been doing the work without a real update. Door was dirty with handprints, as was door frame and other fixtures, so needs a deep cleaning. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet, so no complaints there. The gym is just OK, no air conditioning and humid as heck, with half the dumbells missing. Would stay here again, but only if another alternative isn’t available. Sorry Hampton.

Noise One pro: Clean room …but that’s the beginning and the end: The hotel had an unfortunate accident of frozen pipes that exploded and made the front entrance unusable. This meant a frustrating start to check in as no one would unlock the side entrance since we were not yet guests. The first room we were put into was directly across from the elevator on the 3rd floor when the occupancy rate was visibly very low during Christmas week. The shade in the room was also broken and hanging off a chain. When we went down to ask to change right away, a comment was made that we hadn’t requested away from the elevator. (…which should only « matter » with high occupancy, in the instance that there wouldn’t the be a room change available.) The second room was just down the hall. The shade was barely functional and does not block out ANY light at all. Both queen beds had massive mid- bed bumps from age and the size of the room for three people was tiny. The desk chair was stained and rickety. The bathroom was fine, but the towels were visibly old and in need of replacement. The in-room AC/heat was noisy….But the hotel had their building heat up so high that we were forced to use the AC in December?! Also, you still have to request a stay-over clean daily that other hotels have returned to post-Covid without request. The biggest peeve: What made this stay fully 100% miserable, however was that every night of our stay, without fail, loud shaking/bass thumping music would come from somewhere in the hotel. Some nights it was prior to 10 pm, then other nights it started between 12-2 am. When we called down to complain, it would be addressed. HOWEVER, if you had a guest that was obviously so ignorant of courtesy for four nights running, don’t you think you’d find a better solution rather than putting the impetus on the polite guest to complain by moving the other guest or asking them to leave? When my husband spoke to the general manager, she said to just keep calling down which really isn’t fair to others in such a situation. The icing on the cake the last night then was a barking dog across the hall at 4 am. Again, one of these things would’ve been no big deal, but added up, it was a frustrating stay. The hotel coffee was not drinkable (not hot at any hour of the breakfast time and so weak it was transparent) and we didn’t eat breakfast, but it did appear well-stocked daily. We were very disappointed in our stay, and even more so as we come to town at least a few days a year to visit family and the location is great for us. Honestly everything would’ve been « okay enough » just not to return without us writing this review had they showed us our right to quiet mattered enough to take care of the noise promptly and permanently.

Avoid room Room 324 has a street light right where there is gap between window and blinds. Imagine a spotlight each time you face window., I seriously thought it was headlights at first. No exhaust fan in bathroom, get to smell everything. Staff nice, check in easy. Sleep disturbed
