No Pool, Breakfast lacking, loud To be fair let families know you do not have a pool, fix your website, was disappointing, would of been really disappointed if we had kids along in this heat. Buy some butter and cream cheese for the breakfast bar, easiest thing you can do it’s available right across the street, I shouldn’t of had to bring my own after I asked the previous day. Don’t stay here if you need to sleep during daylight hours, they are renovating, to the extent at one point sounded like jackhammer was coming through ceiling, I’d have been upset if I was resting. We won’t be back, pay a little more stay elsewhere!

Under Renovations Oh I love this place so much for the nostalgia. I stayed here my first time in Nashville back in 2007 with my dad. Unfortunately the years have not been kind to this wonderful place. It is under renovation so I hope it is back up to par soon. Our TV _ didn’t work in our room because the outlet was overloaded with the tv, microwave and refrigerator all on one outlet. The light over the sink didn’t want to work. We finally got it working. We had a roach in our bathroom this morning. The air conditioning worked well thank goodness! The wallpaper was peeling and it is just in need of an overhaul. There are limited outlets to charge phones. I just hope the new owners keep making updates to bring her back to her former glory.

Budget friendly clean hotel Stayed 1 night in February 2024, I had a king room. Let me 1st say, I would return again. 2nd you have to remember that this is a 2 star, value hotel. You can't expect the Marriot when your not paying for the Marriot. When I pulled up, I thought oh, I hope this is ok. The outside doesn't look like the picture online, needs a paint job. The room was a basic, clean, bug free room. The 1st thing I always do is check everything for bugs. The bed was comfortable, I slept all night. I brought my own pillow, so am unable to give review on pillows. The lobby was nice and had a nice sitting area. Cracker Barrel is right next to the hotel, which was a bonus. Reason I knocked off a star is for the following reasons. 2 out of 3 lamps didn't work. I did leave housekeeping a note on napkin about lamps. No alarm clock in the room. Yes, I had a phone for alarm but if I wake up during the night, I like to look at clock to see what time it is. I wasn't surprised no pen or paper. That seems to be normal for value hotels now days. No soap in the room. Was this an oversight? There was a shampoo pack, is reason I think it might have been an oversight. I had my own soap for the shower, so it wasn't that I had go to desk. Cosmetic looks-the 2 wall pictures had been taken down but the picture hangers were left on the wall. It would have looked much better, if they had also been removed.

Perfect Stayed for a week. rooms very clean . doesn't cost you a million Bucks to stay. Rooms are a little out dated didn't bother me just there to sleep. Going back again in 2024 . Going to stay at the Fiddler's inn again for sure

Poor experience We arrived here after a week of travelling around and staying in typical chain motels, all of which were satisfactory and comfortable. We had booked three rooms at each hotel and had printed copies of the bookings, made months earlier. I had even received a reminder that very morning. On checking in, the person on reception was adamant we only had one room booked. I actually had the booking there in front of him. He then said he could book us another two rooms so it wasn't a huge problem. However we did get the impression he thought it was somehow our fault. We eventually got the keys, went up in the lift which was like a sauna and went to the first room. This was 4.30-5pm, well after check in time. The key worked but it was very quickly obvious this was someone's room! The tv was on, there was an opened bag of sweets on the bed and the bathroom door was closed. We quickly backed out and opened the room next door, for which we had also been given a key. This time there was nobody in there but the room hadn't been made up - just bedclothes in a crumpled heap and towels on the floor. We didn't bother to go to the 3rd room, just went back downstairs. The guy said he'd only come on at 3 and the computer told him those rooms were free and had been made up. So I suggest they need a new computer system. There was a constant smell of weed outside the rooms and just about everywhere around. The hotel is in a good location for Opryland because you can walk to all the attractions, including several bars and restaurants. But it is way overpriced for what it is and I'm sure there are better options in the area.
