Mill Street Inn

Great hotel choice This was a beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, clean, very helpful and friendly front desk staff. The roof deck is great! We had planned to bring our dog, she would have been welcome had our plans not changed. Would highly recommend this hotel. The location is very good and the free parking is a real bonus!

Weekend Getaway Enjoyed a recent weekend stay with my wife and Labrador retriever. This small hotel is nicely located near all the tourist attractions in Newport. Room was spacious and clean with a great balcony, finishes were up to date, parking and modest breakfast were included, staff were friendly and helpful. Roof deck has great views. Hope I can stay again sometime soon.

Charming place for a getaway We picked the Mill Street Inn from Expedia and we are so glad we did. We were greeted by Lori who could not have been more helpful. The continental breakfast that was delivered to our door was a great way to start the day. The suite turned out to be two floors with an outside deck which we loved. They have just recently added a small gym which was a great surprise. This is definitely a place we highly recommend and will revisit.

Great location, cozy suites and wonderful staff! We stayed at the Mill Street Inn over Memorial Day weekend and were impressed with its cleanliness, superb location and fantastic staff. We had a townhouse and thought the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on and while we didn't get a chance to sit outside on either our small balcony or the rooftop due to rain I can imagine that both would have been delightful. Even the little things were wonderful - a goodie bag upon arriving (along with an option to sip some sangria or flavored water), breakfast placed outside your door at whatever time you request, umbrellas, etc. The room was spacious and included a fridge, two TVs, a gas fireplace and lots of space for your stuff. The ONLY reason I can't rate the Mill Street Inn as perfect is because there were two loud, yapping dogs in the room next to ours. They barked constantly and were disruptive - I would love to return to the Inn but I wish that there were some sort of pet policy, such as a "pet-free" block of rooms for those of us who do not wish to to listening to non-stop barking. On the whole I would highly recommend the Mill Street Inn.

A Perfect 10!!! It is rare, even in 4 and 5 star hotels these days, to experience true exceptional hospitality where both service and facilities come together to form a perfect stay. Perfect Location: Check. Onsite Parking: Check. Pet Friendly: Check. Free WiFi: Check. Gym: Check. Rooftop Garden Terrace: Check. Free Continental Breakfast with local pastries, organic coffee offered 5 ways (we did iced) and fresh juice delivered to your room daily: Check. Amazing staff who knows your name and your dog's name: Check. Rain shower, quality bed, ambiance...check! check! check! The General Manager, Jaime Secor, a Rhode Island Native and Newport resident comes from generations of Rhode Islanders. She has such passion for her hometown and state and so does her team. The history of the building is perfectly blended with contemporary neutral classic tones so what you get are high ceilings, windows that open and all that exposed brick that reminds you : You are in New England"! I spent a portion of my 40th birthday celebration here and the Mill Street Inn was the absolute highlight. 1,000% recommend! I cannot wait to go back...only place I will ever stay in Newport. Thank you!
