Great, clean and spacious room! The room was spacious and clean! The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was the usual (scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, waffles, fruit, coffee, etc.) and was fresh. They did not have milk alternatives if you don't drink/eat dairy. The hotel is close to everything in Pigeon Forge, and close to Gatlinburg too (although traffic at times made the drive time longer than it should normally be).

Great remodel, but filthy pools! Stayed here for just a night while visiting Dollywood. We are DW passholders and visit the area several times a year; we have eyed this hotel several times since it was the Clarion, and decided to give it a try since it has been fully remodeled and rebranded. PROS: - The remodel is great. The rooms are fresh and clean! - Location is great if you're looking to do things in Pigeon Forge. - Breakfast was great and included waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, potatoes, etc - Really nice pool setup with indoor pool/hot tub, outdoor slide, and outdoor hot tub. (NOTE: the lazy river, sadly, is completely gone) CONS: - The pools are very poorly maintained. I spotted at least 5 large clumps of hair floating around the pool. After it wasn't cleaned the next day, I grabbed the pool skimmer myself and retrieved a bunch of hair so my kids wouldn't touch it (GROSS!). Both hot tubs (indoor and out) had murky water and were NOT clean. Both hot tubs had such low water levels that it was below the skimmer boxes - meaning that the hot tubs were not being properly filtered. Overall this was a huge disappointment as the pools/hot tubs were a big reason we booked this property. - Breakfast room is way too tiny and packed for a hotel of this size. Overall, I'd stay here again. But a note to the management: please hire someone new for the pools, or train them better. This is borderline a health issue (we did have 1-2 kids with stomach issues after swimming here, but I can't definitively say it was from the pools).

Won’t go back The walls are super thin that the first night the people in the room next to us were up late into the next morning and were very loud. My husband knocked on the connecting door after midnight and asked them to be quiet because we were trying to sleep. A little while later they called our room just to annoy us. The pool is really small. Any more than one family in it would feel uncomfortable. There’s so much deck space where they could have built a bigger pool in relation to the size of the hotel. The breakfast was typical with the same thing offered daily. At least the yogurt was ok. Was turned off by guests etiquette. One day a man appearing to be in his 70s walked into the breakfast room barefooted. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he was eating by the pool. Nope, he joined a table of others (all wearing shoes). Next morning an older woman came into the breakfast room wearing her pajamas, slippers and robe. Why not throw on shorts and a shirt. The power briefly went out while we were in the elevator they said because of a storm. Total dark and the elevator dropped a little. Called for help and after a little while we hit the button for our floor and it worked. The area also is not what I like. I should have done more homework. It’s a cheesy touristy area on a busy street. We checked out a day early to come home as we hated it there.

Great experience Check-in was a breeze. Beautiful very clean room. The beds were amazing. That is rare for a hotel. We were lucky enough to get a room on the back side of the hotel. From our balcony we had a nice peaceful view of the mountains. Enjoyed sitting with coffee looking at the view. Nice looking pools though we didn't swim. Very impressed as I've never stayed at a Walden hotel.
