If you have to go to Mayo Very clean room, comfortable beds and pillows; it’s nice and quiet, for a good night sleep. Their complementary breakfast is very good: eggs, sausage, delicious potatoes, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruits, pastries, different juices, and good coffee. Very close to Mayo Clinic, if you take a Lift or Uber it’s very inexpensive and fast.

Location to Mayo is good but not sure if that equaled out the poor hotel experience. We had a few issues withe the room. The night stand outlets were not connected, just a faceplate with no electrical connections. The TV guide and the remote-control guide were two separate views. Only the guide on the TV worked. We lost all channels above the 3 local channels. The room we had was basically a storage closet, you could not open the room door if the bathroom door was open, Located next to the employee lounge they were not as quiet as you would think they would be. The breakfast was good.

Smelly Room and Uncomforable Bed This was the last night of our vacation and drive home back to Wisconsin and I picked this Hampton based on reviews and location. However after entering the room, I wondered if I should have just kept driving. The chair in the room had smelled as if someone urinated in it. That smell also seemed to travel into the air conditioner and was awful when I turned it on. It was so bad I suggested we open some coffee pods and set them next to our nightstands to offset the smell. The bed was very uncomfortable with it slanting from the center to the edge on each side making it feel like you have to consciously try not to roll onto the floor all night. How old is this bed? I just came from 3 nights at another Hampton and that stay was fantastic. This Hampton needs some new furniture, a new bed, and some ventilation cleaning, at least in the room we stayed in. I don't plan to be back.

Wonderful after long drive We arrived around 11:30 pm and the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub was 24 hours which was nice after a 12 hour drive. The breakfast was delicious with western egg omelets, smoked sausage, Yukon gold potatoes and so much more.

Great hotel and customer service! Fantastic hotel and customer service! We stayed here for a baseball tournament and was impressed by how nice and easy to work with the hotel staff was from setting up our room block to accommodating a space for our team dinner. The manager, Nick, is FANTASTIC! He was responsive (even on his days off) and very accommodating. The evening front desk manager, Quinton (Q) opened up the breakfast area so we had a place to set out our trays of pasta for our team dinner Friday night. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was great! The only challenge was there’s only one elevator which is slow at times, but with a 3-floor hotel, running up/down stairs aren’t a big deal.
