Travel for Work Two females working the front desk. The one I was dealing with is of African American ethnicity and she was not friendly and kept looking at me like she was disgusted. The facility itself was not very clean. Elevator had smudge marks all over and one of the two elevators was not properly working. Crumbs all over the carpet outside of my room entrance. The shower floor looked like it needed to be scrubbed clean, no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

STAY ELSEWHERE! Until a new evening/night front desk is hired Don't even bother with booking a stay. Until they get rid of the Mexican lady with the orange hair checking in people. Her attitude towards guest is atrocious. And talk about POWER TRIP CITY! & total RACIST! She was refusing to give me my room key because of where I placed my ID CARD for her to see! All 5 feet of herself that can’t even see over the computer and mad about where I set my ID for her to be able to see it. Then threatened me that “it was on camera” and “she will be showing her manager”.. Okay? Please pull up that footage and show me what you think was so terrible that you are refusing me my room key! Her tone and demeanor to every guest checking in before me and after me (because again, she was refusing to check me into my room) was snippy and RUDE! What a terrible first impression for this hotel that will be running guests off to never want to stay here again. Which I highly HIGHLY suggest you find elsewhere to book your stay. For having mediocre renovated rooms where 6 coats of paint is already peeling off the doors, this place is going down hill fast. & The failing of this hotel will start off with her checking in guests with her sour personality.

ZERO STAR IF POSSIBLE, DON'T STAY HERE! Upon arrival, my husband tried to check in to our room first. i was on my way, but arriving late with my 2 year old nephew. My husband was denied and was not allowed to check in. he asked if he can call me to verify the booking with them. They said no. They then proceeded to cancel the booking without even allowing myself to call in or or to get there and check in. During the time of booking, I forgot to add my husband's name on the reservation. I take responsibility for, but the way they have handled the situation was inconsiderate. I had a 2 year toddler who needed a place to stay. According to my husband, he felt as if he was being racially discriminated. I know business is business, but where is the heart and soul? Is this how IHG Group wants to be depicted by people, as inconsiderate and heartless? These people you have representing your hotels are just disgraceful and degrading to your name. The manager names Sagar continues to patronize my husband with the comment "you're a Platinum Elite member. You should know better." No one should experience what we went through. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

Better than the 1 star reviews here I would give the place 3 stars, wife would give 2, thus the 2 rating. I was worried going in seeing the 1 star reviews of late. But it was better than that in my mind. Construction is continuing. While we were there, they actually demolished the front desk (was still there behind a tarp on Saturday, gone by end of day Sunday.....they were using a folding table as the front desk). Carpet in our room was still ancient. Carpet in the hallway was better. An old ice machine made a lot of noise and dripped a bit near the elevators. Furniture in room was old and chipped, but functional and clean enough. Bathroom was OK. Tons of water pressure in shower (wish we could actually turn the water pressure down a bit). Building looked OK from the outside. Breakfast and lobby areas looked OK (but were still undergoing some renovation so dusty). Breakfast was OK, but they never had apple juice available during entire stay (always said out of order). Did have cranberry and orange available). Last day they didn't have plain scrambled eggs available, only pre-made omelets with cheese (disappointing to my wife who doesn't eat cheese). Lots of other choices, both warm and cold, and make your own pancakes. One day we were sitting down to eat and staff came and put down cones and started washing the floor with some smelly water. Didn't say sorry or anything, we just got up and moved far away. Glad the air conditioner had a button to turn the fan on constant, otherwise the on and off would have been annoying at night. Still, never could get temp quite right as either too cold or too hot overnight.
