In 1995, John Merideth began a dramatic transition. In the span of less than a year, he quit his day job, ended a long-term relationship, and moved to a new home. As the world he knew was thrown into upheaval, John found solace in what had, up until this point, been only a peripheral pastime: teaching yoga. When his friend offered a vacant space as a yoga studio, John silenced self-doubt and decide to pursue a new career. Little did he know that gamble would result in a thriving Ashtanga yoga studio, dubbed onlYoga for its focus on a single method of yoga—Vinyasa. John and his fellow instructors have the distinct privilege of pouring all their attention into Vinyasa—and completely mastering it—for the sake of leading concentrated classes.
