Thai Chili, Atlanta

About two decades ago, Chef Robert Khankiew opened up a restaurant to introduce Atlanta to the flavors of Thailand. The venue, Thai Chili, may have been new, but the chef already had plenty of practice. In fact, he grew up cooking Thai food with his mother.

Today, Thai Chili swims with the aromas of Chef Khankiew's spicy curries, which he mixes with crab, duck, and other proteins. In addition to curry, he also whips up classic pad thai, fried rice, and a variety of meatless entrees loaded with fresh vegetables and tofu. Beers imported from far-flung locations such as Thailand, China, and Japan are available to complement each meal once they get over their jet lag.
