What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Our inspiration to run this shop is to keep a piece of American tattoo history alive & operating in Baltimore. Tattoo Charlie's was established in 1938 & has thrived through the decades. We are conveniently located in downtown Baltimore by The National Aquarium & Baltimore's beautiful inner harbor

What do you love most about your job? To provide a service that lets individuals feel beautiful by expressing themselves through decorating their bodies.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? The best reaction we've ever gotten is when a customer cried tears of happiness. Our artists specialize in covering up tattoo nightmares. Even the worst decisions can be fixed.
