But after doing some research on centuries-old ritualistic sweat lodges, she realized that sweating wasn't just good for staying fit—it could also help to heal the body.

Empowered by this discovery and excited to share it with the community, she founded City Sweats, an urban retreat that promotes detoxification through sweating. Though the focus is on infrared-sauna treatments, City Sweats also offers restorative services such as massages.
