About City Sweats

For years, the owner of City Sweats had frequented infrared saunas as a way to bolster her lifestyle as a dancer and fitness trainer. But after doing some research on centuries-old ritualistic sweat lodges, she realized that sweating wasn't just good for staying fit—it could also help to heal the body.

Empowered by this discovery and excited to share it with the community, she founded City Sweats, an urban retreat that promotes detoxification through sweating. Though the focus is on infrared-sauna treatments, City Sweats also offers restorative services such as massages.

My favorite form of self care is a sauna session and lymphatic massage. Highly recommend, the energy here is amazing!

The 45 minute sauna experience was SO wonderful and relaxing. I felt safe, comfortable and came out feeling great. The cooldown room is very nice, and the front desk staff at the Wallingford location are amazing! I will be returning.

Company charged me a $3.55 transaction fee for using a Groupon because they did not factor it into their costs. No mention of the fee could be found on the voucher.
