Learning about Jewish heritage, discovering ancestral history, and putting minds to work—this might sound like a trip to the library or a dive into one's personal religion. Instead, they're interactive adventures. OneBefore's historic room escape games fuse Jewish heritage with compelling challenges and mysteries. Here, quick-minded escapers must puzzle out rooms designed around sages of old and the stories of the King David. Escape rooms reach back decades, centuries, and even millenia. And while each room's theme revolves around Jewish history, all are welcome to participate—outside knowledge of the Jewish culture is not required. Escape rooms include:

• Rashi Room: Players find the greatest treasures of the Jewish people, saving the manuscripts of the renowned Reb Pinchas from the flames of the Holocaust—and traveling back in time to find his medieval ancestor in his self-imposed exile.
• Shpola Room: Escapers enter the Ellis Island office, where they're challenged to discover as much as they can about the Polonsky family's journey from Europe to America. Each suitcase, document, or hidden piece of information is another key to escaping.
