The Music Junction, Burbank

Music Junction is a Los Angeles-based music school company that provides virtual lessons and online courses, as well as in-person training to over 400 local students at 2 music school locations. Founded in 2012 by Charissa Wheeler and Bob Vaughan, Music Junction offers support for up-and-coming musicians to thrive. From online courses that build a strong foundation from home to personal attention from virtual and in-person music lessons, Music Junction provides training for musicians at any level. Music Junction hosts recitals and concerts with up to 1000 attendees. The school also features performers in Livestream concerts that showcase musicians from all over the world.

Music Junction also focuses on charitable outreach programs that raise donations for music education, such as join-the-band Rock Concerts that help schools raise funds for their arts programs, and an annual charity singing contest called “Burbank Singing Star,” that supports music ed in the public schools. Radio Disney is the Grand Prize Sponsor and Judge of the annual event, along with other Judges from American Idol, the Grammy’s, and Broadway. The charity event has raised tens of thousands in donations for public school’s music ed departments, in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Burbank service organization.
