A decade ago, this intimate mom and pop eatery was known just for its pies, which included more than a dozen varieties from traditional fruit-filled pies to Southern-style crawfish pie. Today, the business has expanded and the star of the menu is now their original cornbread sandwiches, which are served along with pies, salads, and other desserts in the warm, inviting dining rooms at each of their two locations. The moist, tasty cornbread is made from a secret recipe that doesn't crumble, making it strong enough to hold up hearty slices of deli meat.
