The owner was not too friendly last year when I inquired about redeeming my Groupon a few days after it expired. He expressed a lot of frustration with his experience from the retailer side of it. That interaction left me with a negative impression. Customer Service 101 - you should always be pleasant to customers unless they are stealing from you or are abusive. If it were my business, I would have seen how I might be able to allow some leeway with the expiration date or offer some other type of deal. Also, there were restrictions I missed before I bought the Groupon like you couldn't use it on sale items, etc. I had a hard time using it the way it was intended since I was never planning to buy a new pair of skis or expensive jacket, etc. That was a lesson for me about reading the fine print on Groupons. In the end my only option ended up being to go back after the expiration and get the value of what I initially paid ($30). When I did finally go back to get my $30 worth of merchandise, he was not too friendly while ringing up my purchase which is too bad because I ended up spending over $60 anyway. Not sure if he is totally turned off to Groupon and it still bugs him or what.

Keep up the good personal customer service. It would be nice if the groupon could have been used on everything in the store
