As the son of a former competitive body builder and football player, Alex Verdugo was born into an active lifestyle. Alex draws on his certification in the Russian kettlebell technique to fuse a variety of different techniques into a single workout designed to build lean muscle and torch calories. Students sweat and strive in a modern fitness studio appointed with shock-absorbing black mats, dangling TRX bands, and rows of brightly colored kettlebells. Weather permitting, classes can also venture outdoors to complete blistering boot-camp sessions that integrate plyometrics, body-weight exercises, and attempts to outrun the wind.
