There are few experiences more thrilling than falling through the air from 13,000' or more with the greatest of ease, then having your parachute open to provide time to see the beautiful sights around you. SkyDive San Diego, whose professional staff have more than 100,000 jumps among them, provides that experience, but it goes further: takeoff and landing are at the same place, so that you don't have to take a ride back after your landing, and the plane hold up to 18 people.

Before you jump for the first time (in tandem with an experienced instructor), you'll take an instructional class so that you know what's coming and so that you can jump safely. During the jump, you can elect to have video taken so that you never forget the day, and after you land, a barbecue deck and patio provide space to unwind and reflect upon your travels from the heavens. The video selection is not during the jump but rather during check-in process.
