Karen Strum Tattoos & Books, Clearwater

Karen Strum is a licensed tattoo artist. She earned a bachelor of arts in philosophy and political science from Indiana University. A portion of her studies were inspired by the Dali Lama’s oldest brother who taught Tibetan studies at Indiana University. Prior to tattooing, she spent two decades in advertising winning two national ADDYs and an AIGA while working with the creative teams at Finelight for her design skills. After working with many creatives, she decided to start selling some of the loot that nonconformists love most—banned books and tattoos.
