My name is Jaeok Lucas Lee and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in Maryland and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine in NCCAOM. My personal experience of severe upper backache treated by one single acupuncture treatment inspired me to respect Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

And about 20 years ago I had an opportunity to learn Auricular Therapy from an expert therapist. She was convinced of Auricular Therapy because she could cure her husband who had been totally out of energy and disabled without any specific reason. She demonstrated Auricular Therapy at my church. Many people are amazed by pointing out their symptoms and the effectiveness of healing. She encouraged me to practice as she showed me. 

From then on, I could help many people who experience all kinds of pain or digestive problems. etc. But, when I see some seriously sick person, I felt sorry deep in my heart for my shallow knowledge. That motivated me to follow my true passion of helping people in more dynamic way which led me to pursue a career in Oriental medicine.

Since I had started to study Oriental Medicine, I have always been thankful for doing it. I could understand more about the body, emotion and their relationship. In the Oriental Medical theory, treating the imbalance of the body can treat mind and emotion and vice versa. Just practicing following the experience-based treatment for thousands of years has made me amazed by the efficacy of many diseases. I hope many people live their better lives with my care.
