Delta Range 93's resident instructor, Rey Rodriguez, learned shooting fundamentals from his father, a US Marine. Rey himself would go on to join the Marine Corps, putting in a total of 9 years of service, 3.5 of which were spent as a marksmanship instructor. Today, he continues to practice safe firearm use, calling upon his background as well as certifications from the NRA and the Texas Department of Public Safety. He teaches Texas CHL and NRA-certified handgun classes—including women's-only sessions—focusing on revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. And with a commitment to the customer, Rey offers complimentary coffee, donuts, bottled water, and soft drinks in the air-conditioned setting.
