Happy Bakeshop's name came about thanks to one owner's young son, who, instead of wishing friends and family "Happy birthday!", would shout "Happy cakes!" His words resonated with his mother and her bakery business partners, so they stuck, and now Happy Bakeshop brings people joy with its baked goods, including cakes, cookies, macarons, and pies.

Both classic and original creations appear on the shop's extensive menu. Lemon bars sit next to Cloud 8 bars, a concoction of eight ingredients that include chocolate, butterscotch, and coconut.
