About Sipping n' Painting

Behind the windows of the Sipping n’ Painting Highland studio lies an intimate workshop where soft hanging lanterns spotlight guests laughing, chatting, and sipping wine as they paint canvases. Seasoned instructors stroll across the rustic hardwood floors, offering step-by-step guidance and tips to painters as they complete vivid reproductions of majestic mountains, beautiful flowers, or plucky sausage vendors. Each night, classes focus on a different featured painting, though participants who feel comfortable doing so are encouraged to work on their own original pieces. The instructors keep classes lively and fun, encouraging and socializing.

Took my friend for her birthday in Feb, she had never done any painting before so thought it'd be a fun way to try it. The instructor wasn't super into it- he was playing dark & depressing music, moved quick without much instruction, and didn't walk around and chat or interact with anyone. My friend and I made the best of it, but she left feeling like she still doesn't know how to paint, and probably won't be trying it again- not what I hoped for as a birthday present.

We are sorry that you did not have a good experience in February! My wife and I acquired Sipping N Painting in April and will be bringing about some new things. We are looking to open new classes as soon as government regulations allow. We hope you can give us another chance and that we can show you and your friend a great time!

Brushes in bad condition. Bad music choices. Instructor wasn’t confident and his own painting looked nothing like the inspiring painting. He kept saying just paint zigzag Strokes. Been to many and this is the first painting of our group that looked nothing like the topic painting.
