Hotspot Glass Studio, Fairfield

The laws of physics seem to bend at the Hotspot Glass Studio. Some visit to watch artists twist and blow their one-of-a-kind medium, and others get their hands dirty in a class or workshop. The studio offers 'group gatherings', birthday parties, corporate events, private instruction, and curricula for different experience levels, and a few courses just for teens. Once students have been endowed with a bit of glass-blowing know-how they can then rent studio time from the Hotspot to practice their skills. Many guests are content to bring their own masterpieces home, but for those who want works of professional craftsmanship, the studio also accepts commissions. In addition, artisan Dylan Cotton and his fellow Hotspot artists craft light fixtures, centerpieces, and more to customers' specifications.
