Dan Crandall is well versed in kayaking activities from the mild to the wild. As the co-founder of Current Adventures Kayak School & Trips and a well-respected figure in the kayaking community, Dan has been navigating the rivers, lakes, and oceans in and around Sacramento for more than 20 years. Along the way, he and co-founder Colleen McKinnon have assembled a crack team of instructors who lead whitewater, calm water, and sea kayaking trips for novices and more experienced kayakers alike. For instance, the Learn to Kayak trip offers an easy introduction with an excursion to scenic Lake Natoma, while the four-day Rogue River whitewater trip provides 34 miles of challenging liquid terrain.
