Brookfield Pumpkins Corn Maze, Thurmont

Started in 1996, Brookfield Pumpkins incorporates such elements as the farm, family, and agricultural education in their philosophy. Founded by Sam and Mary Roop, the farm is rife with corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay, as well as beef cattle. Visitors to this farm can spend their quality family time within its thirteen acres of pumpkins and gourds and choose their own pumpkin specimens. With hayrides to the patch, face painting, or a petting zoo with chickens sheep, and calves, kids are bound to have lots of fun. And if that's not enough, the farm's six-acre corn maze with its twists and turns offers a great entertainment for whole families while trying to find the way of the maze.
