Legend has it, after killing his wife and child in a fit of rage, a man known as Booger Jim tried to hang himself from the bridge in Cherokee Falls. But the spirits that haunt the falls would not allow Jim to repent and cast him into the woods to haunt the trails for eternity. At Booger Jim's Hollow, visitors come face to face with the Legend of Booger Jim as they brave two attractions—the Haunted Trail stalked by Jim's tattered soul and the Haunted House in which his family perished.
