Raymond and Debbie Peña took a somewhat roundabout way to owning their own donut shop. Even though they started out frying up doughy rings and working the register at Raymond's mother's donut shop as teenagers, they moved on to get married and have kids while Raymond worked as a firefighter for 20 years. They eventually came full circle, though, and opened Pena's Donuts & Diner, where delectable donuts and grilled diner food attract customers day in and day out.

Some of their more decadent options include maple-bacon and bacon-cheddar donuts, along with old-fashioned cinnamon rolls, which make for perfect on-the-go treats. Alternatively, they also craft sit-down meals for breakfast-seekers and lunchgoers with traditional favorites like biscuits and gravy, fully loaded burgers, and a signature donut burger with cheese.
