At Serenity Studios, we believe that art and healing go hand in hand. That is why our class schedule offers everything from painting to pottery to knitting to meditation and yoga! All classes also available as private lessons for those who cannot fit classes into their schedule. Located in a charming antique bungalow in the historic Heights area of Houston, the ambiance and energy in the studios is soothing and joyful. The perfect place for a party, baby shower, or small event. Our mission is to support the local arts community from the ground up. We believe that all artists need and deserve a place to create, to come together, to share their skills, or to learn new ones. Anyone of any level of artistic ability is welcome, and our aim is to make you feel that when you are with us. We offer small studio spaces for rent at reasonable rates by the hour, day, week or month. No long term commitments and no lease obligation. We also have classroom time available for rent by guest teachers-- Pay us to borrow the space for a class or demonstration, and you keep the fees paid by your students/attendees! Serenity Studios is one of a select few art centers in town that make pottery studio time available. Like our other spaces, you can rent the studio (materials/firing included) if you have experience, or you can have a private pottery wheel lesson, followed by a glazing technique lesson once your piece has dried. We have everything you need here for the classes. We fire up the kiln once a week and let you know when your piece is ready. We truly hope that our creative space will share something special with both the art community and the local community in a broader sense. Art enriches our lives and enhances our souls, it deserves to be nurtured and supported!
