Arkansas Academy of Hair Design, Jonesboro

Originally founded in 1960, the Arkansas Academy of Hair Design has been training aspiring stylists for more than five decades. Since then, the beauty world has seen its fair share of changing styles, but the school's varied curriculum—which includes all aspects of hairstyling, from cuts and highlights to hair extensions, as well as skincare and nail care—prepares students for whatever trends may spring up each season. The academy also offers affordable beauty services at its onsite clinic, where students practice their talents only after they've clocked a minimum amount of hours and demonstrated their ability to perform at a professional level.
