Color My Spirit Run, Hamlet

At the Color the Fight 5K, colored powder rains down on participants as they jog toward the finish line, brightening their clothes. The event is more than a run, though—participants also dance to live music, and kids frolic on playground equipment throughout the park. Staged at the 212-acre Jackson Park, runners do not so much take joy in their race times, but in the entire experience with friends and family.
