At Sylvan Learning in La Mesa and Bonita, our Credentialed Teachers understand that each child learns differently. Equipped with the latest technology (SylvanSync), the Staff designs customized lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of the student.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
There is no need for students to bring any materials with them to their session. All materials used for instruction, including the iPad, are kept at the Center.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The Executive Director in the La Mesa and Bonita Sylvan Learning Centers is a 20 year veteran of the public school system in San Diego County. Sylvan Learning offered an opportunity to help kids using a effective system that builds confidence and gets results.
What do you love most about your job?
What we love most about Sylvan Learning is when parents of former students tell us how much they credit Sylvan for the SUCCESS their kids are experiencing in school and in life. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing the kid's confidence grow and grades improve.
