Keahi Health Acupuncture And Herbal Clinic, Lake Oswego

Keahi Health Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic was founded in 2011 by Karly Bannister who is a Portland-native, of Hawaiian and Chinese descent.  The name “Keahi” is pronounced “Kay-ah-hee,” and it is one of the two middle names given to her by her family (in the Hawaiian tradition). Keahi means “the fire,” in Hawaiian and in Chinese medicine, the fire element is related to the Heart. She chose the name in part to pay homage to her family’s rich tradition of healing and to represent the care (from the heart) that she and other practitioners have for their patients. Her passion is to partner with patients to achieve their health and wellness goals. Melissa Bautista joined Keahi Health & Herbal Clinic as an office assistant in 2013, thereafter she attended the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) where she received her master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. She is now a licensed acupuncturist and is eager to transition into her new role as a practitioner. She strives to offer exceptional and effective holistic healthcare to all.
