About The Bike Shop

Since 2006, the friendly and knowledgeable staff at The Bike Shop has paired products ranging from bikes to apparel with expert maintenance services. Customers can peruse the store’s inventory of bicycles from notable names, such as Ridley, Giant, and Scott, and then don a Lazer helmet before peddling their purchase out into the world amid the blares of their own bugle calls. When wear and tear threaten to sideline a set of wheels, a team of repairmen, led by owner and certified bicycle mechanic Adam Trost, stands ready to nurse bikes back to health with services, such as tune-ups, fittings, and custom wheel builds.

The advanced tune says it comes with a wash down of the entire bike. My bike came back with mud and Cobb weds still on it. The mechanical work was good.

The shop moved to Main Street next to Snap Fitness. Not on Oakwood anymore.

I was bait and switched. I made it very clear to the owner that I only wanted the Groupon services, if it needed further work to call me. After 5 calls to the Shop in 4 weeks, no one answered the phone.. When I finally reached someone, I was called and told the bike needed a bracket for $14. I agreed to that. When I went to pick it up the charges were $56 for another part that was added. When I told the employee working the desk that I did authorize any further repairs, he told me I could not take the bike. I paid then he offered me another "free" tune up worth $80. He authorized it to me on a post-it note. "Free" would cost me another $56!!!

It would be most helpful to receive a call back when tune up was completed. Also riding the bike on the road would be a better practice than just in a bike rack
