Denton Hog Wild Mud Run, Pilot Point

How fast can you get across the muddy terrain at the Denton Hog Wild Mud Run? That depends on a few things. The race challenges single participants as well as two- and four-person teams to walk, sprint, or crawl across five kilometers filled with more than 20 obstacles—and, of course, mud. At the end of the day, timing isn't really the point either: the race is only unofficially timed, letting teams aim for a personal best if they so choose and with awards given for different categories instead of speed. The finish line also brings a bit of celebration with music and drinks in addition to other activities, such as analyzing the shape of the muddy face blot left in your towel.
