Salty air sweeps in from the gulf shores as guests sit patio-side to enjoy a Detroit-style pizza from a family-owned restaurant paying homage to their native roots.

From the time they were kids, Detroit natives and owners of Frabotta’s Italian Kitchen were kneading and rolling the pizza dough that made their father’s neighborhood Italian market famous. Though they later moved to Florida, the family’s Midwestern roots remained intact as they devoted to keeping the Detroit-style of pizza making alive at their new gulf shores restaurant.
