NYC Works™ is an millennial solutions agency whose mission is to inspire motivation, entrepreneurship, and success. We have been through the employer interview process trenches and came up with a modernized solution to modernized resume writing today. We live in a digital world, recruiters read resumes in 6 seconds or less often overlooking your hard work. Our market is changing and so is your resume. Our mission is to unite millennials around New York City with one steady platform for staying in the loop in the concrete jungle.

NYC Works is also a community based organization, and encourages the entrepreneurial hustle by connecting local businesses to investors. The company was founded by University of Vermont alumni from New York, NY and a locally recognized entrepreneur, whose created some of the largest movements in social media today. NYC Works™ will be the millennial movement for like-minded individuals with aims to empower, motivate, and discover.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

By 2020, almost 80% of our workforce will be millennials (born between 1980 and 1995). Many Fortune 500 firms recruit some 20,000 graduate millennials annually from across the globe, half of whom are female. Employers are adapting to these changes in many ways. Female millennials are becoming a larger and larger part of our talent pool, and we know we are not alone. As a woman owned business our goal is to see everyone reach there ultimate potential without losing sense of individuality in a digitally competitive world.

What do you love most about your job? Talking to customers and discovering hidden talents and attributes that could be beneficial to your career.
