Hydrofloat as a company emerged in mid-2007 when its founder Mariano Kurganoff began developing his first flotation tank in a small workshop in the city of Santo Tomé, Argentina. From the beginning he used all his experience as a psychologist and engineer for the design of the tank and the formation of a work team integrated from the first experimental days by Danilo Eberhardt, responsible for the area of manufacturing and design of models and Néstor Gorosito, collaborator and artist responsible for the model design area. During the first stages of the project, a series of experiments were carried out with the aim of selecting the best materials and progress was made both with the design of the tank and with the analysis of its technical feasibility. Then, the construction of the first full-scale model began, made entirely by hand and in an artisanal way. The project ended with the manufacture of the dies, the molds for series construction and the fine-tuning of the equipment's electronic devices. In 2011, after years of intense work, the first flotation tank designed and manufactured in South America called INFINITY was presented, which its acceptance and sales have truly made it an innovative product. Subsequently, in June 2016, thanks to the learning and experience gained with the INFINITY model, Hydrofloat presented its new float model for physical and mental rehabilitation on the premises of the Argentina Soccer Association. This new model called OpenFloat is quick and easy to install and can be used for both residential and commercial purposes. It also has multiple aesthetic and functional configurations that can be customized according to the requirements of each client. During 2017 Hydrofloat began to export both the INFINITY float tank and the OpenFloat tank to different places in Latin America, the United States and Europe.

Fast forward to today Hydrofloat USA Miami is the only flotation therapy company offering the luxurious Infinity tank.
