When stepping into a treatment room at Luvli Body Works, the most noticeable thing—besides the soft music and dim lighting, of course—is a set of wooden bars positioned over the massage bed. Though they look like something you'd find on a playground, they're actually an integral tool in the studio's signature service: ashiatsu massage. During these sessions, a licensed therapist will balance her weight on the beams while using her bare feet to focus firm, deep pressure into the client's muscles. The effect is a deep-tissue or trigger-point massage. In addition to this specialty, Luvli Body Works also offers more traditional treatments, including hot-stone massage and aromatherapy.
